flicker

Flickers are woodpeckers that are skittish and hard to photograph, at least for me. This was shot a month ago, my first bird outing with the Nikon. I hope to get better at this.

It's for Abe Lincoln, bird photographer, historian and story teller extraordinaire, who is recovering today, and for a while.
