I don't have an SLR camera, so this little Olympus lens isn't the greatest for those lovely moonscapes you'll see elsewhere of the last total lunar eclipse until 2010. But I want to prove that I watched it on a perfectly clear night of 10°F (-11°C) degrees here in Michigan.

This is at the point of almost total eclipse, even though it is still visible and seems like a harvest moon. The earth's atmosphere causes the shadow on the moon to be red. You can see three other phases at my other blog.

BTW, I checked the display box for EXIF Data, but it's not displaying. I imagine some might be interested in that info for this kind of shot. Rats.
