This is for my 95-year-old Aunt Sue (Ginnie, am I right about her age?), who is living through her last hours. She's our last relative alive, beyond us siblings and their families. I must say, I think of her as having more firecracker than flower about her, but her sweetness and gentility are powerful.

Do you know anyone else, besides me (and Ginnie, my sister, and our 5 siblings) whose grandfather was born in 1848 and fought in the American Civil War? He was 70 when his son, our dad, was born, and our grandfather's grandfather was born in the 1700s. In five generations I'm in the 1700s.
