Round Tower

Round Tower
Rock of Cashel (Carraig Phadraig), County Tipperary, Ireland

The 90-foot (28 metre) Round Tower in this remarkable edifice is perfectly preserved - since 1101. It was built with the dry stone method, but mortar has been filled in to help conserve it. It is attached to the Cathedral of the Rock, which dates to the 15th century.

Nothing I could do about the jet trail, since it was there the entire visit. But I suppose it reminds me of 'when' we are, which is real at least.
