 summer concert Saturday evening our son Peter's band had a concert in a square in our university town. Even before the band began, kids were dancing in the open expanse of pavement. When Peter started warming up, they stopped and watched him. I liked watching these three redheads, and also was pleased later to see 'Pinball Pete's' neon in the background. This was the first occasion taking out my new camera, a Nikon D40. This was shot with the 70-300 Nikkor lens, heavy equipment for this lady, in more ways than one.
