my personal favorites
wooden shoe dancers, Tulip Time, Holland, Michigan

Here are my niece Stacy, and her mother (my sister-in-law I was telling you about yesterday) Wilma ('Wilhemina' actually, named for the queen). What this photo captures is interesting, if you pay close attention. See those other two dancers to the right? They're cute too, aren't they? But see how they're looking at their feet? I'm guessing this is their first or second year dancing. Stacy and Wilma are pros by now, after dancing every day for one week for the last six or seven years. They don't have to look at their feet, and they can even look at the crazy woman with the camera!
