 blue vs brown Luxembourg Gardens, Paris, May 2006 5th in a Paris series, which I'll continue next week. I don't want to leave yet. I was walking from Ernest Hemingway's sometime residence, Hotel D'Angleterre at 44 rue Jacob, on the route I imagined he might walk to Gertrude Stein's apartment on rue de Fleurus, cutting through the Luxembourg Gardens. I was compelled to stop and snap a few shots of the many tables of chess players lined up on the west side of the gardens. Enjoy your weekend! Play some chess!
