Whose woods these are I think I know

These golf woods were my grandpa's. He was a scratch golfer, which means he shot par or better. He passed away in 1967. I'm guessing he last golfed with these clubs in the early 1960s.

This photo is my submission for the JorgDotOrg photohunt: a golf club.

The title allusion, of course, is to the Robert Frost poem, 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,' one of my favorites. (Happens to be about a different kind of woods.)

Read the poem here: http://www.ketzle.com/frost/snowyeve.htm
